ARRIVED! | Feb 9 & 10The team boarded their flight in Montreal and had an uneventful trip back to Edmonton! They pulled into the church parking lot at 3:07am and were greeted by some excited parents!

Leaving Brazil | Feb 7 & 8The team had an amazing time in Brazil, connecting with kids and host parents. Their travel home so far has unfortunately been just as eventful as their trip to Brazil...
The team made it to Sao Paula, but their next flight scheduled for Montreal was delayed and eventually cancelled. They stayed in a Sao Paula hotel, but check-in was a little crazy amidst all the other travelers. After a great night's sleep, the team was happy to board their flight to Montreal! They'll spend a 10-hour layover in Montreal and are scheduled to arrive back in Alberta at 11:40pm where their 15 passenger van and driver will pick them up and drive them back to Whitecourt. We can't wait to have this crew home, safe and sound! Keep praying for this last flight and the bit of illness some team members are experiencing. |

Arrived | Feb 1-6February 1st, 10 out of 10 team members arrived in Brazil... however, only 3 out of 10 suitcases arrived!
No worries though- team members shared clothes and did a bit of shopping. Team members have had a wonderful time connecting with the house kids and moms at Chain of Love. They have also been sharing their own stories and serving the families in a variety of ways. PRAYER REQUESTS The team thanks you for your prayers and ask that you continue to pray for the few who are feeling under the weather; that God will sustain their energy levels. Please pray ahead for the team's travels this weekend, that flights will go smooth and their luggage will remain with them the whole way! |

Rescheduling | Jan 29-31Missed connections and/or flight rescheduling led to two nights for the team in Toronto. Hopes each day that they could board a plane and get to Chain of Love, but God had other plans! Grateful for His provision and timing. The team enjoyed some downtown Toronto time and finally...

Flight Change | Jan 29thDue to a flight rescheduling, the team headed to Edmonton a little earlier than expected. Parents Were excited to see their kids begin their adventure. The team arrived safely at the airport but learned their flight time had changed. They'll be spending some extra hours in the Edmonton Airport this afteroon.
