The Message of Ephesians:The world is a broken place, without a clean and consistent sense of definitin and direction. Who are we and what holds us together? To what and how should we belong? Where can we find the resources to make it through the challenges of life?
The Church is supposed to have and to be the answer to these and other questions. All the privileges of life are to be found in union with Jesus, union with His Body (The Church) and union with His Spirit. Christian churches are to be corporate representations of Jesus and all His blessings. This begins with Identity Formation. Paul, in Ephesians, aims to shape believers by reminding them:
